Chloë Ellingson an independent documentary photographer based in Toronto, Canada. Her work has been supported by the National Geographic Society, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council and the Magenta Foundation. She is a member of Women Photograph.
Chloë’s interest in photojournalism extends beyond photography itself and into the industry in which she works. She publishes a Substack called Rangefinding, which focuses on the question of how photojournalists can build sustainable careers, and explores what a photojournalistic skillset is made up of.
In addition to practicing photography, Chloë is the Visuals Editor at The Local, a non-profit online magazine covering urban health and social issues in Toronto.
